Create a jaunt
A jaunt is one trip. You make it, then invite your friends to vote on the rest.
Start a jaunt
Section titled “Start a jaunt”- On the home page, tap Get started on the “Create your first jaunt” card. Once you’re in a jaunt, use the coral + at the top instead.
- Fill in the cards. Each new card appears once you’ve answered the one above it.
- Tap Create jaunt →. Your new jaunt opens.
You’re the owner of any jaunt you create, and an admin.
The cards

Jaunt setup: what’s already decided?
Section titled “Jaunt setup: what’s already decided?”Pick the option that fits. Jaunt then only asks the group to vote on what’s left.

- Jaunt length: roughly how long the trip is, from 1-2 days to 2 weeks. Choose Custom to type your own, in days, weeks, months or years.
- Date Range: the months people can pick dates in. For a summer trip, for example, June to August.
- Dates can’t be in the past.
Already know where you’re staying?
Section titled “Already know where you’re staying?”If you’ve picked a location, a Stay card appears. Turn on Add stay, then either:
- type a name, like “my holiday home”, or
- paste a booking link. Jaunt pulls in the name, photo and price.
You can add the £ total cost of stay too. The stay is added as the first option, so your group can still suggest others and vote.
If you know the dates, the location and the stay, there’s nothing left to vote on. The jaunt skips voting and is ready to plan straight away.
Can I change it later?
Section titled “Can I change it later?”Yes, if you’re an admin. Open the jaunt and tap the pencil next to its name. Only the owner can delete a jaunt: see Leave or delete a jaunt.
If something goes wrong
